About the Author
Khenpo Yeshe Phuntsok was born in China's Sichuan province in 1971 and educated in both Chinese and Tibetan. In 1986, he entered Larung Gar Buddhist Institute, modern Tibet's most dynamic and fastest-growing Buddhist academy, to study with its renowned founder, Jikme Phuntsok Rinpoche. In 1996, he became a khenpo, a senior teacher, and was assigned to teach Rinpoche's Chinese students. Since then has become a major figure in the revival of Buddhism among Chinese people worldwide. This is his first book in English. He lives in Serthar, China.

Beautiful, helpful book for practitioners of all levels.

Beautifully illustrated and written with heartfelt and compassionate language. I highly recommend for any Vajrayana practitioner who wants to deepen their visualization skills and become familiar with purification practices. May all be well and at ease.

Beautiful book. As it goes with visualization instruction

Beautiful book. As it goes with visualization instruction, I think each lineage varies; in that sense, there are some things omitted from other Kagyupa instructions, but the author seems to be a Nyingmapa. At any rate, if you are practicing Ngondro this is a beautiful text to have. For me it accompanies "Torch of Certainty", "Not for Happiness" and Khenpo Karthar's instruction pamphlet from the KTD bookstore.

This is a beautiful book and for those of us without a teacher, offers a clear instruction on the practice. As the Venerable Khenpo notes, an empowerment is not required here.
