A simple, gentle book that enlightens from within...

The Teaching of Buddha is clearly written, easy to read with space between paragraphs for reflection and reminder to slow down and digest life a moment at a time. I checked it out at the library and plan to buy it. I love that there is English on the left page and Japanese on the right, reflecting the interconnectedness we have with the rest of the world. It is one of those books you can close your eyes, open at any page, read a paragraph and feel enlightened. I learned of the tremendous sacrifices the first Buddha made and how true happiness is found in BEings and not THings.
